About Me
Greetings! I'm César Albusac Jorge, a seasoned Software Engineer with a primary focus on .NET solutions.
My fascination with technology dates back to my childhood, watching my dad assemble computers and replace their components. At my parents' house, there's still a room filled with ancient computers, monitors, keyboards, and a treasure trove of floppy disks. My curiosity about how information could be accessed through a screen or communicated through text grew from a young age. (I particularly disliked it when a phone call interrupted the internet connection!)
While my secondary school lacked a dedicated Informatics curriculum, I developed a keen interest in pursuing a degree in the field. In our final year, a math teacher inquired about our future plans. I distinctly recall declaring, "Computer Engineering." His response, "Are you sure? That degree is quite challenging; perhaps explore other options."
I not only accepted the challenge but embraced it wholeheartedly. I completed my degree, including a year spent in Germany, and earned two Master's Degrees—one in Computer Science and another as a Secondary Teacher. Throughout this journey, I delved into various technologies, mastering programming languages such as C++, Java, C, and Python, working with databases like MySQL and NoSQL, exploring computer architecture, navigating the Linux console, and venturing into Cloud Computing (Azure and AWS), Web Applications (with Django), Android, among others.
Post-graduation, each job has been a source of joy. I relish learning from my managers and colleagues, often visiting them whenever possible. Time seems to fly during work hours—an encouraging sign. In addition to my professional pursuits, I have a deep passion for exploring new countries, leading me to Ireland for a role as a Software Developer. Beyond honing my English skills, I find myself learning from the diverse people I encounter. Despite perceived differences, the warmth of the Irish is akin to that of the Spanish—a delightful discovery.
Beyond technology, I enjoy undertaking personal projects to explore new technologies. Outside the tech realm, I have a penchant for photography and indulge in sports like table tennis, pool, and padel.
